About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, where I also earned my M.S. in Computer Science. My research lies at the intersection of computer science education and machine learning, with a particular focus on transfer student success in CS.

I use computational methods, including data analytics, knowledge graphs, and predictive modeling, to explore how institutional pathways, curriculum alignment, and student identity shape academic outcomes. My goal is to develop data-informed strategies that promote equity and persistence for historically underserved student populations.

In addition to my education research, I’ve worked on projects in cybersecurity, autonomous vehicle systems, and data visualization. I enjoy building interactive dashboards, machine learning pipelines, and graphing techniques to make research insights more accessible.

Outside the lab, I serve as a Graduate Honor System panelist and student ambassador for Virginia Tech.
